Transfigured Immigration Corp., operating as TF Immigration (“TF Immigration,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy explains our practices when you use tfimmigration.ca, transfiguredimmigration.ca, our client portal, forms, booking tools, email, telephone, video meetings, or professional services.
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
identity, contact, family, citizenship, residence, education, employment, travel, language, immigration, and application information;
passport details, UCI and application numbers, permits, visas, civil-status records, government correspondence, and supporting documents;
information about spouses, partners, dependants, relatives, employers, representatives, or other persons relevant to a matter;
consultation, assessment, intake, portal, uploaded-document, correspondence, billing, payment-status, and transaction information;
marketing preferences and consent or unsubscribe records; and
technical information such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, timestamps, cookies, and similar technologies.
Please use only the secure channel we approve for sensitive documents. Do not send highly sensitive information through ordinary email or an unapproved form.
We may collect information directly from you; from a person or organization you authorize; from IRCC, CBSA, other government bodies, educational institutions, testing organizations, or other relevant parties where authorized or legally permitted; from public sources where permitted; and automatically through our digital services. If you provide another person’s information, you are responsible for having lawful authority to do so.
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; schedule and administer consultations; conduct preliminary assessments, conflict checks, identity verification, and onboarding; determine whether we can accept a matter; provide services under a written agreement; prepare and manage applications and communications where authorized; operate the portal, forms, bookings, documents, invoices, and payments; secure and improve our systems; prevent fraud and misuse; keep professional, regulatory, insurance, accounting, tax, and business records; comply with law and professional obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We obtain meaningful consent where required. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal, contractual, regulatory, professional, and reasonable-notice limits. Withdrawal may affect our ability to respond or provide services. Law may also permit or require collection, use, or disclosure without consent in specified circumstances.
We do not sell personal information. Where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, we may disclose information to authorized personnel and contractors; GetMeOnline, which supports our website, CRM, portal, forms, documents, bookings, invoicing, and related features; Stripe where payment processing is enabled; Zoom where online meetings are enabled; GetMeOnline’s contracted hosting, backup, email, communications, accounting, invoicing, CRM, security, analytics, artificial-intelligence, and technical providers for features we enable; interpreters, translators, couriers, educational or testing organizations, and other providers involved in a matter; IRCC, CBSA, courts, tribunals, regulators, or other authorities; professional advisers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants; and other parties with your consent, at your direction, or as required by law.
GetMeOnline and its subprocessors may process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Its published subprocessor information identifies Stripe and Zoom as processing in the United States or globally and states that hosting, backup, email, communications, accounting, invoicing, and CRM providers may process data in Canada, the United States, or elsewhere. If an artificial-intelligence feature is enabled, submitted content and related metadata may be processed in the United States or other countries by the provider used. Foreign law may allow access by courts, law-enforcement, national-security authorities, or regulators. We remain accountable for information under our control and use contractual and other reasonable safeguards.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes and our legal, professional, regulatory, insurance, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and record-keeping obligations. When no longer required, information is securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized, subject to lawful retention and routine backup cycles.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity and context of the information, including access controls, authentication, secure portals, confidentiality practices, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, backups, and secure disposal. No Internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Our websites may use essential cookies for security and operation and, where enabled, preference, performance, or analytics technologies. We request consent before using non-essential technologies where required. Browser or website consent settings may be used to manage cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect site, booking, form, or portal functions.
We may send communications needed to answer inquiries, administer appointments, provide requested services, maintain accounts, or meet legal and professional duties. Commercial electronic messages are sent only where permitted and include sender identification and a functioning unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary service or transaction messages.
Subject to lawful exceptions, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. We may verify your identity before responding.
Our general website is not directed to children. Information about a minor may be collected where relevant to an immigration matter and authorized by a parent, legal guardian, a legally capable minor, or law. We take additional care with information about minors.
We assess suspected loss, unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, take reasonable containment and corrective measures, and notify affected individuals, regulators, or others where required by law or professional obligation.
